대지의 지층을 드러내듯, 땅과 관계를 맺으며
후문 쪽 샛길에 위치한 캠퍼스 게이트로, 기존의 좁은 샛길과 비어 있는 대지에 새롭게 제안한다. 학교 내부에 있는 도로의 큰 축과 기존 통로의 축을 활용하여 기존의 컨텍스트를 침범하지 않는 범위에서 리니어한 건물과 슬로프를 설계하여 보행자의 자유로운 이동을 보장하고자 하였다. 유동 인구가 가장 많은 후문이라는 특성상 대중교통 및 만남의 대기 장소를 제공하기 위해 인포메이션 센터 라운지, 카페, 600주년 역사관 등의 공간을 구성하였다.
Like revealing the layers of the earth, forming a relationship with the ground
Located on a narrow alley near the back gate of the campus, this project proposes a new campus gate that connects the existing narrow path with the vacant site. By aligning the new building and slope with the main internal road and the existing pedestrian axis, the design respects the surrounding context while ensuring free and fluid pedestrian movement. Given that the back gate is one of the busiest areas with heavy foot traffic, the program includes an information center lounge, a café, and a 600th-anniversary history hall, serving as both a public transit access point and a gathering space.
